Located in Christofferson, Santa Fe, this project involves the establishment of a freestall housing system for 14,000 cows. The milking system is equipped with rotary parlors, with 70 and 80 stalls, and four rotary parlors in total. Our work included the design and execution of all civil works related to the cow housing pens, milking parlors, wastewater management system, biodigestion, and feeding scheme for the cows. This project plays a vital role in optimizing dairy farm operations with a focus on efficiency and sustainability.
Located in Durazno, Uruguay, Estancias del Lago, currently housing around 15,000 cows across two facilities with freestall barns and rotary milking parlors. Our role included designing one of the latest barns, a model for 3,000 cows. Additionally, we are conducting a comprehensive evaluation and management assessment for wastewater handling, focusing on sand management, manure handling, water management, and waste management for the San Pedro dairy facility. This project emphasizes sustainability and efficient farm management practices.

Currently under construction, Las Taperitas project is designed to house a total of 9,000 cows with a freestall stabilization system and sand bedding. The facility uses a dry cleaning system with scrapers, located in El Trébol, and belongs to the Williner Group of Rafaela. Our role includes the civil design of all barns, including the milking room, sand line, and effluent management system, as well as the effluent lagoon. Initially designed for 3,500 to 4,500 cows, this project is expected to double in size during the second stage.
Located in Carlos Pellegrini, Santa Fe Province, Grupo Chiavassa is a freestall dairy farm currently housing 3,200 cows. The farm features a warm bedding system with compost bedding made from peanut shells. Our work included designing the effluent collection system using dry cleaning methods, as well as the effluent ponds, lagoons, and mixer pathways for the feeding system. This project focuses on efficient waste management and optimal feeding infrastructure, contributing to the overall sustainability and productivity of the farm.
